What will the decision be?
For those who don't know, West Ham have breached FIFA rules.
The other bidder, who lost the race, to sign the club, owned the players 100%.
He lent Tevez and Mascherano to West Ham. Rules state that a player has to be, a least, partly owned by the club.

The 3 big wigs of the FA have met to discuss this and will do so again, in the very near future. Seemingly, a clear breach of the rules.

It is anticipated that one of the above will be applied.
Indeed, the other clubs may well be able to insist that WHU be relegated. Many legal experts have agreed that West Ham breached the rules.

I have an additional thought, If one of the above happens, could the current owner, sue the previous owner, Terry Brown, for big bucks? Afterall, all this happened when Brown was incharge.

I didnt know but what a total stuff up.It was always felt there was something fishy about the deal and now the chickens are coming home to roost. What about Curbishley and all the new players they have signed. There must be some breach there and I wonder if contracts can be anulled? The people I feel sorry for are the Hammers fans having suffered what they have this season after all the promise of last season. This is not good news for the EPL coming on the back of the scandal in Italy last year and our readiness to point fingers at them.

How can the rules be that a club has to partly own them when players are loaned out all the time.I cannot see how west ham will be fined or docked points for such a little thing ....i think its more hopeful from the other clubs at the bottom of the league then anything. Its not like west ham have gained an advantage they have lost nearly all thier games with the argentinians playing.i remember a simular thing when west ham fielded emmanual omniyimni against aston villa in the quarter final of the league cup for only 3 minutes.an oversite was made and he had been cup tied when he was out on loan.Doug ellis of villa made a right ho hum about it and the game had to be replayed .... so unfair...im sure these mistakes happen at other clubs aswell but west ham are allways picked on....this time thru jealousy of other clubs because west ham have new money!....come on you irons together we will get thru this dont let the b*****ds drag us down!

None. Everyone else is confusing the Tevez problems with registration problems. Teams who play ineligible players who have not been registered properly are given varying degrees of punishment. For example, Bury were kicked out of the FA Cup this year for fielding an ineligible player in the cup, whilst AFC Wimbledon were docked 18 points (reduced on appeal) for a few registration problems. There was no problem with Tevez's registration. He was always eligible to play in the EPL - the only problem is with a clause in his contract which is not against FIFA rules (in fact it is common place in South America), but is against Premiership rules. So the answer is none. That crime can only be met with a fine, not with a points deduction, since whether or not he had the clause in his contract would never had affected whether or not he was allowed to play.

It's a shame when your've got enough problems at the moment. Don't know if your aware but this has come about because of the legal team at Wigan pointed it out to the fa in the hope of getting you points docked that might benefit them in the long run... grasses ain't they?!
