Of course not. Killing innocent human beings is always wrong. Why should the child be punished with death for the crime of her father? Would you kill a one-year-old whose father was a rapist? Would you say that she is less worthy to live than the rest of us because of the circumstances of her conception? If not, why is the child in the womb fair game?

Furthermore, abortion only increases the grief and trauma of a woman who has been raped. It causes her to become the aggressor, hurting another innocent victim the way she was hurt, and that knowledge will haunt her long after she has healed from the rape. Rape is bad; murder is worse.

A study was done of approximately 200 women who had conceived children in rape. NONE of the women who gave birth regretted it, while most of the women who aborted did regret it. For more information and stories from women who were raped, see:
