I'd have to say Titanic.
Probably got me about about 10 of the 25 times I went to see it (rolls eyes)
lol

I have to agree that Titanic is an extremely emotionally charged movie. It has so many things in it to evoke emotions of pain and sadness. The lovers had a story, but there were so many people who went down with the ship or died in the aftermath that their untold stories provide a depth of sadness that overwhelms me when I watch it. I have only watched it about 12 times, but I have to choke back the tears each time. The first viewing caused me to lose about 10 pounds - I literally could not eat for about 2 days and then only sparcely for about a week - it was as if I had lost my best friend. There are other movies that have made me cry, but none as significant as Titanic.

I got upset watching Schindler's List even though I knew exactly what was going to happen. It was that scene where the little kids get loaded into the trucks and the parents all start screaming and running after them. I've seen the movie a few times but we were taken on a field trip to the theater in high school to see it for free. Even the 'tough guys' in my class were fighting back tears at that scene.

Titanic got to me too even though I can't stand Leo DiCaprio.

i did not somewhat cry for the duration of the keenness of the Christ. not which you're incorrect, yet to me the scenes have been only too shockingly picture to cry-I only sat there greatly surprised and speechless. additionally, on yet another notice, i did not somewhat like ET in any respect. Anywhoo, to respond to your question, a number of your video clips are on my very own checklist (Avatar & great), yet some others that have been 'tear jerkers' for me have been: Meet Joe Black, solid Will searching, Poetic Justice, Set It Off, And considered one of my all time Tear Jerkers, Boys do not Cry. : )

Oh, wow. I'd have to say I AM SAM w/ Sean Penn and Dakota Fanning (when she was a cute lil 5 yr old) Her mentally-challenged father (Penn) was left with his newborn baby when the mother ran off, and ended up having to fight to keep her because of something Fanning's character did out of anger.

I dare you to keep a dry eye while watching this movie. (although it does seem to run about a 1/2 hr too long to me. Still a great movie)

Ponette. It's a French movie about a little girl who looses her mother. At the end you will be crying your eyes out. She basically misses her mother so much that she goes back to the cemetery to try and dig her up with her little hands...and then the mother's ghost comes and comforts her. *crap...I'm getting teary eyed just thinking about that scene*

Yeah Titanic was a huge one for me too I must admit. The Notebook and Dancer in the Dark come close.

I cried like crazy in The Last Samurai, but nobody else did it seems, so maybe I was just depressed that night.
