No, because your earned income is over the limit. But you may be eligible for the child tax credits.

It's based on your adjusted gross income.

Try the calculator located on the IRS site irs.gov

Just because you grossed 43,000 this may not be your earned income, that can change if you were in a retirement plan, had a 401K Roth IRA etc. If you had life insurance.
Try one of the free sites that give you free e-filing and tax preparation also found on the IRS site. They will give you a quick way to look at what you are getting back, it took me 20 minutes to fill mine out and e-file. Good Luck

Current Tax Year 2006
Earned income and adjusted gross income (AGI) must each be less than:
$36,348 ($38,348 married filing jointly) with two or more qualifying children.

You will have to see if your AGI is under the threshold after it is calculated. Without knowing all of your information, my best guess would be that you probably won't qualify. The personal and dependent exemptions come after calculating AGI on the 1040. Sorry.

Why not just go to IRS.gov? All the tables are there. I'm sure it will be affected by your deductions as to your taxable net. 43K? You might be out of luck. EIC is for quite low income people.
