There are a whole bunch of cons.
Crazy hours, no respect, second hand smoke.
Drunk customers, potential harassment, stalkers, bosses who are better at controlling strippers than you are at being a stripper.
No sick leave, no insurance, no reliable income.
There are probably other cons as well.
There are some dancers who routinely answer these questions, they'll give you some pros (maybe they already have.) They'll also probably tell you I'm wrong about all these thing.

THE BAD SIDES OF BEING A STRIPPER ARE DEFINITELY A LOT MORE THAN THE GOOD! JUST IMAGINE WALKING AROUND NAKED AROUND PEOPLE(MOSTLY MEN) THAT YOU DON'T KNOW! IF YOU ARE NOT AN EXHIBITIONIST- THEN IT CAN BE VERY HARD. MOST OF THOSE MEN WILL BE DRUNK. YOU WILL HEAR ALL KINDS OF COMENTS ABOUT YOUR BODY. EVEN IF IT IS PERFECT, THERE WILL ALWAYS BE SOMEONE THAT WILL TRY TO PUT YOU DOWN. ANOTHER THING- YOU HAVE TO BE POLITE- VERY POLITE TO ALL OF THEM. AFTER ALL YOU ARE THERE TO MAKE A LOT OF MONEY(THAT IS THE ONLY PRO)!!! AND SOME WILL BE SO NASTY, DISGUSTING, STUPID AND VULGAR. A LOT OF THEM WILL MIX STRIPPER WITH A PROSTITUTE! SO EVEN WHEN YOU DON'T FEEL WELL, YOU HAVE TO BE SMILING. AND IT IS HARD TO BE NICE TO PEOPLE THAT YOU DON'T LIKE. ALSO YOU HAVE TO BE VERY CAREFUL. THERE WILL BE A SECURITY IN THE CLUB, BUT SOME MIGHT WAIT FOR YOU OUTSIDE! THERE ARE ALL KINDS OF PSYCHOS!!!!! YOU WOULD FEEL LIKE A PIECE OF MEAT MOST OF THE TIME. IT'S NOT AN EASY JOB, ALTHOUGH IT MIGHT LOOK LIKE THAT. YOU DEFINITELY NEED A VERY STRONG MIND!

well Im a stripper to be honest its fun GOOD money meet a lot of people. down side is well you get hit on a lot asked if you do stuff in the side rude guys some times.

I wouldn't even suggest it......it will "strip" you of your
reputation and for why? To sexually arouse a bunch
of old farts? Forget that, my friend. No good can come
from it and then if you decide to get a nice clean job,
you may be turned down if they see you've been a stripper.

Pros:
You will make quick bucks and attain fame among perverts.
Cons:
You will lose respect - not because you bared your body but because you did not mind making yourself an object of display !
Once youth lost and once looks faded, you will struggle to live a life unable to salvage any social identity.
Life is longer for those who live without respect. Hence you will have to live long with nothing to live for !

Con: Having to do something physical when you might not feel like it.
Pro: Exercise and getting paid for it.
