I am having a birthday party which the guest of honor is turning 80. I wanted to have background music from the 1940s. I have Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Glenn Miller, etc.but can you think of anyone else that was popular in the 40s that would be good? Any ideas would be great, Thanks!

i like the vast band swing. That replaced into my dads sought after and as quickly as we've been growing to be up and he performed it, I hated it then, yet enjoyed it when I grew up. a number of the jazzy stuff too like Frank Sinatra, Billie Holliday, Louis Armstrong, and Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Tommy Dorsey, Artie Shaw, Duke Ellington, Jo Stafford, all some I hear to each now and then.
