I had a ectopic pregnancy and had to have emergency surgery to remove my right tube because it was so ruptured. The doctor said that I'm in the clear to start again but I'm going to wait until at least next month to start trying again. The bleeding that I had following surgery should I count that as a period or wait until I start again and count that as my period? Also has anyone been through this and had a healthy delivery ? Thanks for your answers.

I'n so sorry to hear about what you went through. No, you need to wait until your next period. The bleeding after surgery does not count. You need to give yourself a full cycle before you get started again.

Seems like you've been taking emergency contraceptives....
I think you should count the next as a period because that bleeding may well have been due to your illness... I suggest you wait a little while for your body to get back on track and all before you get pregnant again.
Eat healthy!
