I would like to learn a way to remove mailing address labels from sports magazines. They take away from the nice cover photos. I am wondering if using a hair dryer to heat the adhesive enough to peel the label off without any damage to the cover. Has anyone tried this or do you have any successful ideas you have tried? Thanks.

soak the corner of your magazine cover with the label oon it in a bowl for boiling hot water. It will come off in 10-20 min, if it doesn't , peel it off while it's in the water, it;ll come off easily!
Don't worry, the cover will dry( it might be a LITTLE wrinkled though, sorry.) :)

You might want to try putting a little bit of Zippo, let it sit for a few seconds and clean it off with tissue paper. The lighter fluid dissolves the sticker.

I just cut the lable off. Who really cares about the cover. Its the material inside that people read anyways.

I know you can use UNDU adhesive remover; it works great. You can buy it at a scrapbooking store or Michael's or Joann craft stores.
