It is either the easiest low paying job or the hardest high paying job you will ever have. If you are not a self-starter and have a fear of rejection, do something else. Selling real estate can be very rewarding, but like most things, success comes at a price. It will take up to 3 years to start seeing regular repeat business. That means in the first 3-5 years you have to find people that will trust you to help them through one of the most important and expensive decisions they will ever make. That takes self-confidence and a real effort to educate yourself on all the ins and outs of owning and selling properties.

You work as much or as little as you want. No boss over you... it's all on YOU!
It's stressful at times, especially in a down-turned market and in winter. And, since you don't have control of the market, you can work a ton to prospect and still get nowhere.
Besides that, I love it!
