Our 3ways just don't last long. I hope to find bulbs that compare to 200-300w incandescent power.

3 ways won't last long because the filament is for 120 v. if you can find one that is 125-130 v or just 130v, the filament is stronger and will last longer.

You might want to consider getting a lamp with a dimmer switch and put a 100 or 150 w bulb in.
I think the highest wattage I've seen is 23 w CF, which is around 92 W incandescent.

Well, they do make 3 way CFLs, and yes you can buy them at Lowes or Home Depot. They are the equivalent to regular 3 way bulbs giving off the light of a 150 watt bulb.

The best thing to do is to simply read the package, and look at the lumens, the bigger the number means more light. Also, another thing you can do is to look into getting an LED bulb. These can easily produce as many lumens as a standard 100w bulb, but at 1/10th the cost, but they cost between $20 and $30 each, but they do last for around 10 to 15 years. If you go the LED bulb route, the more LEDs the bulb has the better the light output. But they are only sold at electronics specialty shops, or on the net. Do a search for LED bulbs and you'll find plenty of places that sell them.
