sure if you've got something to sell...I've known people who made good cash going to garage and yard sales...people sometimes basically give away cool stuff because they just don't want it and they would turn around and sell it on ebay where someone out there was looking for that exact thing and will actually pay for it.

You can make a lot of money on E-bay, but the key to success is "what" you sell and "how much" you have to pay for it in the first place.

Take a look around on E-bay. The market is loaded with a variety of "Stuff"! Sometimes there is so much of the same kinds of stuff that you don't get bids because the comsumer has so many choices.

The key is to study E-bay. Study it just like a text book. Collectibles, antiques, and highly sought after things such as designer clothing go the best.

First you need to sign up and get a user name and password. This will allow you to look at "Completed" items. This will best give you an idea on how well a specific item sells (What the average selling price is). It doesn't cost anything to sign up!

I have been selling for 8 years. The best thing to do is go to garage sales, auctions, and flea markets to buy your goods. But you must first know what you are looking for and how much you can pay and still make a profit.

Once I bought a Hot Wheels Car that was mint in the box. I purchased it for $1.00 and sold it for over $600. If you know what you are looking for and can find it ....you will make money.

Keep in mind that it does cost to list your items. If they don't sell, you must factor in what you have already paid for it plus the additonal fees you've paid out with no sale.

If you buy desirable items and a good price, you will have no problem selling.

I suggest taking a class on E-bay. E-bay has classes themselves. They go to different cities. I think it is called "E-bay University"!

If you buy on E-bay, be aware of scams! NEVER give out your username or password if someone requests it over an E-mail...no matter How legitimate it sounds. Sometimes scammers make e-mails to look like paypal and e-bay are doing maintenance on their systems and they will ask you to click on a link and log in. Never do this!

Good Luck!

i imagine I made some better funds on some Oakley sun shades i purchased end of summer clearance. I also offered some Cubs tickets immediately. If Cubs are rockin via end of July, i will also make some money. Making authentic funds is quite a number of dedication, which i could not do.

Ebay works, but you have to put in time doing research.

It is also good to have a website or BLOG where you can send people who bought from you. For example put a flyer in the package you send out to tell them about your website.

If you sell the right thing you can make tons of cash. But if you want a nice income try opening a franchise of some sort. Or starting your own business.
