Bob was having a big party. He decided on a technique to get lots of people to come. He invited his five closest friends and said that they could each invite 4 people.

Each of those could invite 3.
Each of those could invite 2.
Each of those could invite 1.

Overall, how many people did Bob invite to his party?

Oops had to redo my answer after turning my brain on, lol, I think this is the right answer now, but maybe not lol.

Bob himself invited 5 - the other 320 people were invited by others.

5 Bob Invited

20 Invited By The Original 5 ( Since Those 5 Could Invite 4 Each )

60 Invited By The 20 ( Since Those 20 Could Invite 3 Each )

120 Invited By The 60 ( Since Those 60 Could Invite 2 Each )

120 Invited by the 120 ( since those 120 could invite 1 each )

For a grand total of 325 attending the party, of which only 5 were the ones that Bob extended the invitation personally.
