In the 90s I watched a movie set in the future (post nuclear war/virus war... I think.) The main character would put on a gas mask and go out into the wastelands and scavenge for things that he could sell. He found the head or skull to a robot that was outdated. The head/skull then somehow managed to rebuild it's body, or create a body, and it then attempt to kill our hero and his girlfriend. I thought it was called Hard Drive but I checked IMDB and the ones I find with that title are not the one I am looking for. What is this film called and who acted in it? How do I find info on it?

I believe it took place on another planet, and it might have been titled, "Screamers". I don't remember who might have starred in it. Kind of B-rated, anyway.
