You're swimming against the current. People have been asking that question since the beginning of time. Fortunes have been made by cosmetic companies selling all kinds of snake oil to hold back aging. None of them do much good.
Sorry, you can fight it, you can spend a fortune on it, you can let it ruin your life with worry, or you can accept it gracefully. My advice is to take care of your body. Keep your figure in its ideal weight and shape. Keep an attractive hairdo. Dress attractivally. Then accept, cheerfully what you have.
Age is not something to fear, believe me, I know.

Obviously you can not literally keep yourself from getting chronologically older. Youth has it's benefits as does age. The best thing you can do is take excellent care of your body.
You need to exercise to keep your heart healthy, keep your weight low, get plenty of rest, drink tons of water. All of these things will help to keep your body functioning well and help your skin to look good as you age (which you will).
If you want to appear young keep up with current fashion trends. That does not mean as a 40 year old you should be dressing like a teenager, but there's nothing wrong with being modern. Stay up to day on recent technological breakthroughs and modern music. Get to know people younger than you and what kinds of things interest them. Become a mentor for some young people and stay active in their lives.
There are benefits to aging. Why do you think people get fake I.D.'s?
You're going to become older and you can't stop it, but you can change your attitude towards it.
