If someone is obsessed with suicide would they ask bogus questions to keep their true intentions hidden. What kind of a Jack *** just does it for attention? What do you think the true mental state of the above referenced individual is?

People who ask questions about death and suicide may or may not be suicidal. They're certainly preoccupied with the idea of death, which may not be healthy. If they need attention, then they need attention, it's that simple.

Some people have genuinely sad lives, others are just overwhelmed with personal things going on. Sometimes it feels like it will go on forever and it will always be bad, referred to as "pervasive" and "global." The best thing is to have sympathy and to refer them to sources where they can talk about their feelings, like a suicide hotline.
