Well it's handy, it's diverted me away from a few bad sites so you may as well keep it as it's not invasive in any way.

It doesn't hurt but in my experience McAffe products are intrusive and resource hogs. If you get FireFox 2.0 it has a fraud site alerts built in and it will probably be more up to date. Also, gmail is really good about phishing warning if you are really worried about it. Email me if you need gmail and I will send you an invite.

No; you don't really really need it but sometimes it can make a difference to your assessment of a particular website, especially if your wondering whether it's safe to download that screensaver of playful kittens from www.dodgyrussianjailbait.com

You certainly do NOT need it. I have it, and really like it. It tells you which sites in your search results have been marked as bad and why.

Try AVG's free virus ware and spy ware. http://www.grisoft.com
Macfee is too invsaive and these programs are free and worthwhile.
