She keeps sending my husband newspaper clippings from Ask Amy about bad mothers and wives. She is crazy, controlling, and annoying but doesn't realize it. I would like to send her an article or two to point this out to her.

yeah send her something from the obituaries and tell her if she doesn't back off this what her son will be reading about her!!! just kidding...i can't stand my mother in law and i would never do that but maybe start sending her grocery coupons or personal ads :)

send her a "happy" toy. maybe she needs to get rid of some anxieties, and it will keep her occupied.
