I would not change a thing. I think I learned something from my first love, and I took away a valuable lesson from my first marriage as well. Both of those experiences have helped make me who I am and make me really love and appreciate my husband and family.

People are always saying if I could change one thing about my life it would be this or that. I wouldn't change one thing because one change would ripple effect a thousand. I think that most of us come to find, when we mature, that our first loves weren't love at all but rather a small glimpse to the answer of what love is. Mine was my first passionate kiss. We never really went out. I was 12 and we had just met. We were so naive that we never even exchanged phone numbers. So our relationship ended as quickly as it began but I still remember the smell of his cologne like it was yesterday. I'm now almost 27 with 3 kids and a wonderful man that has not only long ago fully answered the question of what love is for me but has completed me. Something I could never imagine a boy I met 15 years ago to be able to do. I still think about him now and then but the thought quickly fades as there is not much to remember. I think the song on the website below says it all.

No way-Ever!
2. We broke up because I got pregnant, I lost the baby during delivery and he was no where to be found.
3. I am much happier now and I have learned some tough lessons.
4. My spouse is the most special guy in the whole wide world. Nobody could replace him.
5. Nothing. Life gives us lemons. We make lemonade. And I have the best tasting lemonade in the country.

No, we actually got back together 5 yrs after we broke up and it ended badly
first time because we were young and the 2nd time because he is a raging alcoholic
no, I am with the man of my dreams now
no way
I wouldn't have done anything differently because if I hadn't made those decisions then I wouldn't be who I am today and I wouldn't have eventually found my one great love or have my beautiful kids

Nope, my history is part of who I am today.
He may have been my first love, but he wasn't my true love.
We broke up because we both wanted different things in life.
The only thing I would do differently is to have tried a little harder to remain friends. He was a good person, and we had a lot of fun together. I miss his friendship but not the relationship.

NOnnononononoooooooo!

I broke up with my first love for a good reason. Yeah, I loved him, but I love myself more than being cheated on! He's called me periodically through the years to check if I ever divorced, and always met with dissapointment.
