i want to showing my first fashion collection without runway fashion show...i hear about "showroom", may you tell me more about it?or you have another idea???

That's a good question. I plan on designing clothes on day (still in prep) and have to think about in what way I will choose to display my "line". So I suppose if you don't want to do a "runway" fashion show you could do a fashion presentation in store and pass out fliers for the upcoming planned event. Fashion is about movement and presentation. To do anything other than a showing of the clothing on the body would contradict fashion and definately play down it's appeal. People need to see clothes on the body; how they move, how they fit, how they compliment the body... if you just want to sell and you don't really care about fashion, stick up your clothes on a hanger or a manequin I guess...

Kittysue's answer was right on target. In all the fashion shows I have been in, we always had to wear tiny, nude thongs to help protect the cleanliness of the garments. Bras weren't always required since most of us are an A or B cup anyway. Bra straps on the runway are very distracting & if the strap falls down, the model would have to hike it up, which would be a distraction from the show/garment. In some cases, bras have been required, but in those cases, they have the "stick on" gel cups that go under the breasts and help fill out the garment better. You don't have bra straps with those.

If you have a large glass window, have your models pose in front of it like live manicans who move occassionally. Or get a hold of popular high school kids give the a few free clothes making them promise if it comes up to tell their friends where they got it.

2) go to a store that maybe a friend owns and put some of your designs in it and see if they sell
