Yeah but there is conflict with him and Edge right now and everyone loves to hate Edge so somebody's gotta be the face.

I agree with you 100%. I did a piece like this about Macho Man, but I called him the anti-Hogan. I think that anti-hero is better because it gives it a presence in every age. I had to read your whole piece. Orton is perfect for the role. He has no loyalty. He's neither Hero nor Villain. I remember Hogan joining forces with Macho Man becoming the Mega Powers. Hogan couldn't beat Macho Man because Macho Man was always willing to go that extra distance. I mean he won but Macho man got the better of the two and end up ruling as champion for over a year. When Ultimate Warrior finally ended his reign. Hogan wasn't willing to use the bell to win a match. Or the belt. Macho Man was willing to go that distance if it was necessary. Orton does remind me of Him in that regards. I like Cena. Mostly because he brought wrestling out of the Rock era. Where it was more fun to see the Champion fight to finally win the title, rather than reign as champion. But Macho Man is my favorite Wrestlers of all time. Right now Orton is my second and I couldn't understand why. And now I know. Kudos to use. I agree with your point whole heartily.

Orton should be a heel, but Edge has become too good of a heel to turn him back in my mind.

i like orton as a heel but with edge being the more promient star in wwe, edge will stay heel.
