I'm afraid you're stuck with them. They do fade a bit in time but once you have them that's it......

You can never completely get rid of stretch marks. You can reduce the appearance of them by aggressive moisturizing of the skin usually something with vitamin A and D in it, which is a healing combination. Actually, some of the scar creams are even recommended for the use on stretch marks. You could try that and see how well it works. Usually the best way to not have stretch marks is to prevent them by always keeping your skin moisturized so it has the ability to stretch more.

I know how you feel, and I've tried three products.
1. Bio-Oil: really slippery oil that is supposed to get rid of them and let them fade into your skin. Never worked for me, costs too much, and leaves a stain on your clothes.
2. Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula: Worked really well and got rid of them. Doesn't leave a mark on your clothes. Use the squeezable bottle, because the tubbed formula is as hard as cold butter. But, the stretch marks can return.
3. Vaseline DermaCare cream: It moisturises your skin and gives it elasticity so the stretch marks don't come on again after repetitive use for a couple of weeks. Really good, non-greasy and suitable for sensitive skin. Fairly cheap, too.

Once you've got them they're there to stay.
They do fade tho in time then sometimes they're hardly visable.
Cocoa Butter really does help tho.
p.s Stretch marks are not about being fat, it's about the collagen in your skin being damaged which quite often happens to young women around the bum and hips after they've changed size and shape during puberty.
Most women if they're totally honest, have a few stretch marks.
I thought it was such a big deal when I got my first few at 18yrs but they are just part of life for us women! As if we haven't got enough cr@p to deal with.
Don't worry!

I gained 60lbs and as a result I got a lot of stretch marks. At first they were disgusting. They were very noticeable and really red, but about a year later they faded and they're not so bad anymore. If you have lots of money you could always have Lazar surgery to have them removed.

No you cant get rid of stretch marks once they are there, but you can disguise them with some cream or make up if you feel that bad about them! Some people are prone to them me included. The only place i got them was on the lower part of my tummy - had 2 children so i got stretch marks in between my stretchmarks! they are not attractive,I hate them but im stuck with them. dont worry yourself over them - your not the only one!

Massaging creams, oils, or lotions into the skin will help it feel more supple. With time the lines fade to fine streaks closer to your own skin colour. What may look unacceptable to you at first will seem a whole lot better six months later!
Hope helps!

I was asking on here the other day for a good body moisturiser and most people suggested Palmers Cocoa Butter.. i went to superdrug and bought some and its absolutely fantastic. whilst i was in the shop I noticed they do a whole range of stuff and a lot of their products were for stretch marks and scar reduction.. they're not expensive either and if they're as good as the body moisturiser then i would definately use them!

I heard COCOA BUTTER helps (rubs on like a stick of regular butter). Women have used this for years to help eliminate stretch marks on their stomachs and sides after a pregnancy. But don't take my hearsay word for it. You might do an Internet search to confirm or at least similar consensus. Like maybe with "remedy treatment for stretch marks" as your search terms. (Ahem ... make sure you spell your key keyword correctly "streTch")
