Hi there! I recently discovered the first book in a new fantasy series that I think might be just perfect for you. I read about it in the "Book Trolley" reviews section on the Mugglenet website. They recommended a book called "Justin Thyme" saying they felt it would appeal to readers who loved Harry Potter Books ... and, as they're about the best Harry Potter site around I took them at their word.
I ordered the book off Amazon during December, and the entire family have been TOTALLY obsessed by it ever since. What more can I say? Anyways .... check out the links for yourself:

I'm not sure how fantasy-ish there books are...but have you ever read A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray? Its such a fantastic book, and right now im reading the next book in the trilogy, Rebels Angels. I highly recommend them.
Theres also a series of 4 books by Laurie Faria Stolarz...Blue is for Nightmares, Silver is for Secrets, Red is for Rememberance...and so on. I havn't read them yet, but I'm planning on it. A number of my friends said they were really good.

Have you read Tamora Pierce's books? She has several (I think four) different fantasy series' that I love.
Also Mercedes Lackey's Heralds of Valdemar, The Warrior Heir by Cinda Williams Chima and (if you're not bothered by sexual content) I adore Jacqueline Carey's Kushiel series. First one is Kushiel's Dart.

If you like sci-fi, you might try Orson Scott Card's series beginning with Ender's Game, Speaker for the Dead, Xenophobe, Children of the MInd. I can't remember the rest, but the link below has all the titles.
