Is the maid of honor typically in charge of putting together the bachelorette party? And should the other bridesmaids that are coming to the bachelorette party help chip in money?

Traditionally, the Maid of Honor is supposed to throw the bachelorette party and be in charge of the expenses. If some or all of the bridesmaids want to chip in with payment, they can. However, the MOH doesn't always have to throw it. I'm throwing my best friend's bachelorette party in a couple of months and I'm not even a bridesmaid! She doesn't want her MOH to do it because it's her 19-year-old little sister and my friend doesn't trust her with the costs or the plans. Just make sure you plan something the bride would want to do that the rest of the guests will enjoy as well. My friend gets embarrassed very easily and doesn't want a stripper so I will respect that decision and not make her do anything she wouldn't want to do.

Seems a bit much to me for the maid of honor to have to organize the shower and the bachelorette party.

i think of that is excellent. I in basic terms have my 2 sisters in my wedding ceremony - My MOH age 25 and Jr. Bridesmaid, age 9. My sister set up a karaoke bachelorette occasion for me and it fees $24 according to guy or woman. My sister asked everybody to cover their own cost. while i develop into my buddy's MOH, we went on a harbor cruise (Boston) and it develop into approximately $one hundred according to guy or woman. everybody gave me funds for tickets and that i paid for myself and the bride. Your theory is excellent. If human beings do no longer want to flow, don't be indignant and it ought to be an high priced night. although, i do no longer think of maximum human beings might have a concern with it.
