Umm there are probably some places that are a bit safer at least.I don't live in one(Texas Panhandle). We've been getting a lot of ice and snow, and it's called Tornado Alley for a reason here but floods are at least pretty rare.Don't get much rain.

There is no place that is safe. On the west coast you must worry about earth quakes. In the northwest volcanos. In the mountain states blizzards. In the midwest tornadoes. In the southeast hurricanes. In the northeast blizzards. In the north central blizzards, and extreme low temperatures. Arizona and New Mexico extreme high temperatures. No where is safe. Pick your tempest.

I live in south Texas, near the coast. Most of the time, we have really nice weather. The only downside is that every few years we get the threat of a hurricane, but we haven't been hit directly since 1980 (Hurricane Allen), so 26 years without any really major problems isn't too bad. In winter, sometimes we get through the entire winter without freezing once, so that part's really nice.

I live in Kansas, part of the "tornado alley", yet I have never seen a tornado, hope I don't. I have been caught out in a hail storm, 2cm size hail bopped my on the head as I ran for cover.
Blizzards, heat waves, earthquakes, huirricanes, volcanos, seems like everywhere there is something.
Conclusion - this life is dangerous, no one gets out alive.

I live in WI right next to the big lake so that protects us from most weather like tornadoes and of course we don't have hurricanes we do get freezing cold temps and we used to get alot of snow other than that can't think of any state that doesn't have bad weather

I live in California, and we have all the good weather, no snow really to speak of and we are high enough not to flood, and away from the forrest enough to be away from fires and toranados never the only thing we have are earthquakes and well they have been pretty quiet for a bit.

on the north american continent i would say new england is the calmest. they get an occasional blizzard and heavy snowfall, but virtually no worries from earthquakes, volcanoes, wildfires, tornados, hurricanes, desert heat waves, arctic blasts or floods.
