I woke up this morning, and found and interesting g4 review of Eragon for 360. That dumb woman. If she can even be called that. She started out her review by spewing anti-homeschooling propaganda, something about how homeschoolers are dumb and end up getting married at 15 and working at a gas station for the rest of their miserable lives. Then she went on a rampage about Chris Paolini and how he was the symbol of homeschoolers, their greatest success story. Which, she then said, was also their greatest failure, thereby meaning the homeschoolers are dumb, misguided robots who spew their parent's religious beliefs. NOT TRUE. That woman ought to be sued for criminal misrepresentation. She wouldn't know a homeschooler if one smacked her upside the head. Which I very much desire to so do. Chris Paolini was on top of the NYTimes bestseller list for weeks, meaning that his books were obviously some success. Chris Paolini is NOT the symbol of homeschooling. g4 is going down, sooner or later.

That female's review does sound like an outrageous hatchet job. Homeschooled kids dumb? Paolini spewing forth his parents' religious beliefs? Eragon a failure? Getting married at 15?
But this IS the United States of America, and anybody has the right to spew out nonsense if she chooses to, AND face the consequences in the marketplace.

Unfortunately, there is reason to doubt the veracity of your remarks. And there are good reasons to question the quality of the education provided by home schooling. Deal with it like an adult rather than rant like a spoiled adolescent!

You would be better served, as a self-annointed advocate for home-schooling, by demonstrating critical thought and reasoned argumnet, and not childish, unsupported whining. Simply shouting "NOT TRUE" does nothing to convince anyone of your position.

Listening to a lot of these 'so called' experts makes me wonder how they got qualified...
