A friend is like a soul mate, someone you can trust, rely on and talk to.
They are always there if you need them through the good and the bad.

I am a guy...The things I look for in a friend is:
1) They are not inclined to steal my girlfriends (that is not just fellas I'm on about!)
2) They do not steal my beer
3)They do not nick my favourite seat
4) They leave the telly alone
5) They are able to listen
6) They are able to talk to me about anything
7) They limit themselves to borrowing cash from me to about once a decade
Other than that, someone who I can be myself around as opposed to a bunch of w*nkers who insist on trying to make you something you sre not!

I'm a 43 year old woman. With my friendships I sort of have different levels. I don't rate them lol, but I have noticed a difference between the friendships I have.
Deep friendships need: reciprocated: trust, listening skills, laughter and Love
I might change that though

someone who knows you so well you don't even have to tell them how you're feeling, because they already know. with a good friend there are no awkward silences, because you don't have to keep the conversation going: even if there's no speaking, you still enjoy eachother's company. someone who'll know what you want without even having to say it. even if you haven't seen them in ages, when you talk it's like they've been there all along. i believe there are only a few good friends for each person, but when you find them, you can't live without them. I'm a girl, by the way.

i look for trust,honest,a good laugh,someone i can talk to when i need a shoulder and someone that wont take me for an idiot and respects me for who i am and does not judge me,just as id be the same with them.claire
