If a lot of society is jealous of, or secretly 'hates' pretty people, why do we treat them so special?

I don't treat attractive people any better or worse. IE in the work place I make it quite clear everybody has equal duties and there are no palming off of unfavourable duties. Because if there is palming off I'll ensure the following week that particular person will have the same task and an extra until they decide to start working and being a part of the team.

There was a gorgeous guy whom I thought that I wanted to date. Then he claims that it he's got to leave for a couple of days to the next town, but is vague about it. After the return, I hardly hear from him. Finally after a month, he tells me that he's got and STD and thinks that because I had gotten to know him that I should want to give a relationhsip a try. I told him that if he'd keep that from me, he'd keep something else. He and I never so much as hit first base. I am glad. He had just finished 10 years in jail and is the son of a minister.

Yes, until my concious self took over and tells me to treat everyone the same.

It is built into us to appreciate and value anything that is attractive ie a beautiful flower, a nice sunset, a gorgeous looking car, etc.

Just like any other human, we learn and develop. What is attractive may not has the innate quality we value. So do not judge the book by its cover.

No, I may want to go out with the attractive females or enjoy looking at them more, but I treat all with the respect that they deserve.

It's not a matter of special treatment, it's just not being accepting to those. I believe everyone segregates against someone that they see as lesser than them, whether its appearence, race, sex, mental capacity, athletic abilitiy, etc.

I go out of my way to treat everyone the same. especially if someone is ostracised from society because of their disability, or strange appearance.
