Wouldn't that be fun? Out with the bad, in with the good...nice try. Maybe start a new profile with a new account. I still have stuff from years back where I only played part of the season, having just found it but too late for beginning of year. Those are dragging my rating down a bit...

No just leave it there until the end of the season. The it will be deleted
