I cannot find any information to confirm that Newsies will make it to Broadway.
It would make a great musical on stage though wouldn't it?
The movie (via dvd) has gained quite a cult following, maybe some Broadway production company will do the right thing.
Did you know you can sign an online petition to get it onto Broadway, seems to be quite a movement?

Not bloody likely. Even for Disney, it's very difficult to get a Broadway show produced. NEWSIES is a cult success--by its definition, that means it only has a small but dedicated group of fans. There are no known plans to put Newsies on Broadway. If ever it was going to be on Broadway, its time has passed.
