Yeah, it's a crappy deal but it seems like in this day n age if your a great player on a sorry excuse of a team you won't get much Spotlight, and your games won't be televised as much so people won't see them play, that 's what it comes down to " Out of sight out of mind" that's why people didn't vote J. Johnson as an all-star, and probably another reason why the coaches didn't vote too, it's a shame that these great players have to be dealt a bad hand because their on a garbage team, but hey I guess that's the way The NBA works

Great question! Being on the lowly Hawks doesn't help and the fact that he doesn't dunk like VC may be the other.

It's a definite snub though. He's probably playing better than anybody in the east with the exception of LeBron and Gil Arenas. He's playing better than Dwayne Wade in my opinion.

Why was Josh Howard?

Roster for all-star game doesn't include more players than in a regular game so they have to choose between the best players from the best teams... And unfortunately, he plays for one of the worse team in the NBA.

It's the same thing for players Like Pau Gasol, Emeka Okafor and Paul Pierce... Look there: http://www.nba.com/allstar2007/news/allstar_reserves_070201.html

You won't see any Celtics, Grizzlies, Bobcats, Hawks... players!

Why not?!? No 1 cares for the Hawks

Just looking at his stats and comparing it to last season ... his FG%, 3PT% and pts went up but his FT% and Asst/TO ratio went down. His charity stripe shooting is just not gonna cut it for an elite guard. Plus playing for a losing team that really didn't show any substantial improvement from last season didn't help his case.

they don't like to make all-stars of players on horrible teams...can't say that I agree with it, but that's the way it is.

too many good players to be left out

because he puts up garbage points against backups in situations when his team is usually so far behind...
