Which one do you think. I think the UK. Why you ask? Well because Britain is involved in -

The United Nations ( Major Player )
The European Union ( Major Player, Most powerful nation in it )
NATO ( Major Player )
British Commonwealth ( The leader )

Now im not asking who is more powerful but who has the most say. The USA has no say what so ever on the EU, infact the EU has alot of power over the USA in terms of business and US exports. The commonwealth may not have any political power but many nations join because they want to have a system similar to Britain and would like the help we can provide. The EU, although all votes are equal, Britain, France and Germany have a little more power in the fact they are the big 3. Britain is the biggest of the 3 aswell. NATO, only the USA from the west can claim more power than Britain and in the UN the same applys.

Most will say the US and no body will think its any of the other 3 no doubt

Offering solutions and fixing problems for you who wanted to know.

Number 4 - I was meaning over the countries it has a say in which Britain has more say in more countries. The US hold more power yes i dont argue that but its direct involvement is less that GB. As for the EU and USA it would be worse for the US to back out from trade then it would be for the EU but only just. There $1.5Billion difference in the economys in favour of the EU so it would fare better but only just.

What do you mean? The most say in causing problems? Fixing problems? What?

You think the US has no sway over the EU? What do you think the result would be if the US decided to end relations with the EU and its member nations? Or if the US decided to enforce punative tarrifs on all EU products? Do you think the EU nations can sell their goods and services to the 3rd world nations who whos citizens work for 12 cents a week? Hell, what if the US pulled out of NATO and removed the hundreds of thousands of troops stationed in Europe along with all the money that gets poured over there? The EU and the US have a symbiotic relationship and both hold somewhat equal sway over each other. The UK and the US have a very close relationship and to say the UK holds more world power than the US is arguably laughable. As friendly nations both work together to further both countries interests.

Oh, and the UN is really a non-entity when it comes to world power. They are too busy trying to hamstring the US while fostering an environment of corruption. Hell they can't even get tinhorn leaders like Saddam Hussein, Kim Jong il(sp?) or even Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to go along with their resolutions. And now they are allowing the slow transistion from Democracy to Dictatorship in Venuzuala without even raising an eyebrow. Come on.

If the UK is the answer it is only with the very close support from the US.

I'm sorry , it seems your turban is wrapped a bit to tight, would you like to ask your question again ? And you should tone down on the apparent prejudice you seem to have because in all probability if it were not for our countries (USA) so called interference, you likely would have little or nothing to eat or a place to call home. So I suggest you go back to where ever it is you come from and "try" to do some serious thinking if possible.

I might have said the USA before the current administration took power. Bush's peccadillo's have made this country appear weak and uncertain in it's abilities to handle problems both within and outside our own borders. Bush's attitude that he is the "decider" doesn't sit any better with foreign countries then it does here.

Their are a handful of people gaining control of most things...
Some are Americans some are Brits, some others.... I see them as having power, not one country,,, the countries are facades....
