Global warming eventually will kill Punxsutawney Phil, along with all other groundhogs and many other animal species. This is because nuts, bugs, and other things that Punxsutawney feeds on in the spring will come out earlier, due to warmer weather, and by the time he comes out of hibernation, he will have missed them all and go hungry. He may not affect the weather, but if he comes out on February 2 and sees his own shadow, he probably will die.
We need to stop carbon emissions now.
