if i had the majic, i would make it so that everytime my boss walked down the aisles and started looking at us, her too tight jeans would fall down to her ankles and she would fall flat on her face.

Make notes, keep a record of all of the other people that have had problems with this boss from hell. Find another Job. When you quit and have your exit interview with HR give them your notes in a formal letter. I did this and moved on to a better job. My boss was fired 2 months after I left. If HR is responsible at your company they have a legal obligation to follow up on every complaint. If you are leaving the company you have no fear of retaliation and HR takes you much more seriously.

Become a boss yourself so you can experience the other side.
that is the best solution. in the meantime you could write in your journal about how you feel. but the best thing is to quit or move to a different job if you are unhappy. if you feel like doing violence, it's not a good situation for you.

Threaten to quit when crunch time comes and see how quickly it gets better. My boss was a little weasel got upset easliy and it made him very nervous. Super powers aren't as fun as watching a grown man almost come to tears.

Thats the key to tact,.. you need to learn to be an effective communicator Perhaps by suggesting as an employee something that you thought he as the manager had in mind to improve the working environment in order to produce better productivity.
Remember your talking to the one who can fire you.
And that would suck esp if you needed the Job.
And you probably do because your working there

If I have magical power,
1.I would make him a dog and force him to lick my feet.
or
2.Make him a toilet seat in our office for a day!

LOL, I think about it all the time. In my review she said we needed to come to a "TRUTH", and that I have to respect her. I said, " It's a Truce, and I don't have to respect you.. I should show you respect- there's a difference. Duh! So I think I've pretty much let her know how I feel. Oh yea, I don't work there anymore.

You overcome him by not letting him make you angry, and turn the tables on him with kindness and patience. If he you don't become upset (as he wants you to do), you win.
