i am 7 weeks preg today and every now and then i get cramps almost like gas pains in my lower abdominal...and it last about 1 min then goes away is this normal?

Cramps are not normal you need to call your Dr. immediately.

hmm how can you feel the baby kicking if shes only 7 weeks preg (previous post)

but if you have any cramping i would actually go and see the doctor. Even when you call the ob/gyn and they say its normal just make the appointment anyways just to make yourself feel better.
I didnt do that and i was feeling cramps here and there and the office told me its just growing so there is some stretching that you might be feeling but it ended up as a bad news for me.
So just for your knowledge and to relax yourself you should just go see a doc.
Its prob nothing....like a gas...=)

It really is normal. I know how being pregnant can make you worry. You just have to picture what it going on in your body. That baby of yours is causing your uterus to grow and stretch. You will have alot of these "growing" pains through out your pregnancy. Some days it might even feel as if your period is going to happen.
It's normal.

If your saying it's cramps, no it's not really normal, I'd be calling the doctor right now just to make sure everythings alright.

I think you should see a doctor. It could be because of indigestion. Every pregnancy is different and every women has different experiences physically and mentally. Do not take any medicine on you own without consulting ur doctor.

YEAH THATS VERY NORMAL AND THEY MIGHT GET WORSE. I AM 21 WEEKS PREGNANT AND ALL THE WAY TILL I WAS LIKE 17 WEEKS PREGNANT I HAD BAD BAD BAD PERIOD CRAMPS SOMETIMES I COULDNT EVEN WALK BUT DOCTOR SAID IT WAS NORMAL AND I AM FINE NOW. GOOD LUCK!

i had the same things, and dr told me it was just the baby kickin different organs and causing the pain but id say if it happens lot or last lobger then usual then i would go let the dr check it out....

yep cramping is normal bleeding is also normal but never together if you have cramping and bleeding you need medical attention asap but cramping is normal

My pregnant colleague assures me it is, but any worries then speak to a doctor as I am not medically trained and I don't want you following my advise!!

some cramping is completely Normal, as long as you have no spotting your OK
