they may but it would be on microfilm ,if thats what is still used. cities and counties would have the records for their particular area. if you are looking for geneology purposes, ancestery.com has most everything but it costs. there is also -cindi's list of geneology sites- on the web. happy hunting.

I believe your city hall, or town hall. Would have those records. The library might contain historical census's.
