The mode is 9, as it shows up three times while 8 and 10 only show up twice.
Actually, all averages are 9. That question doesn't really demonstrate to you what the mode is, since the mean is 9 and the median is 9.
Try this set of numbers: 2, 5, 4, 2, 2, 6, 2, 8, 7, 2, 4, 3, 6.
The mode is 2, as it is the most frequent element.
The median would be 4, as it is exactly in the middle.
The mean is 53/13 = 4.08.
In this example, the mode is not the same as the median or the mean. The three averages normally are close to each other, especially when you have elements that are clustered around a central point (such as the example you listed). There are some oddball cases where the mode is quite different (such as the example I gave).

An easy way to do this is to rearrange the order from least to greatest: 8,8,9,9,9,10,10. You can see that 9 is the mode because it is repeated the most.
The mode of a set of data is the value in the set that occurs most often.

The mode of any set is the occurrence that is most frequent. In your set of given numbers, you have two 8s, three 9s, and two 10s, therefore your mode is 9.
Hope this helps!

the variences are 8,9,10(the numbers or items present)
8-occurs twice
9-occurs three times
10-occurs two times
The definition of mode is the value which occurs the most frequent number of times .Since nine occurs three times(which is larger than the other varience) it is the mode.
Hope I helped!!!!
