We were in the Navy stationed on the same ship. We had known each other only professionally when began having watches at the same time. I has a roving watch that had to report to him within a given timeframe. We got to know each other, realized how much we had in common, went out, and got married exactly a year from our first date (he was out after serving 7 years). This May Day will be 14 years of marriage and we have 3 kiddos. There have been trials (that's why I got out after more than 15 years of service) but it's going great now!! I honestly do love him now more than ever. He's been a patient and awesome husband! I truly don't deserve him.

We were both in the Navy, going through training school together. We were stationed at Great Lakes at the time, which is just about 40 miles away from Chicago. I was on crutches, and he would always walk back from the galley to the schoolhouse with me, even though it took me forever to get to my destinations. We started hanging out together after class would end for the day, and we just fell in love. We dated a little while longer, then got married. We've been happy together ever since.

We both worked at a grocery store, he was in the meat department and i was a box girl, he got my phone number from our boss 16 years later we are married with 3 kids! I was 17 he was 18.

in college. i walked into the classroom and sat next to the hottest guy i saw (my husband, of course) and the rest is history :)
