yes,
astronomers predict that a collision will happen in another 3 billion years.
But this doesn't mean end of life. There is very little chance of stars from the Andromeda galaxy hitting the sun or the earth. even though the galaxies pass clear through each other, stars in a galaxy are spaced very far apart.most significant effect will be gravitational distortions of the solar system.

Yes, based on the directions and velocities both galaxies are moving in, a collision between the two seems to be likely to occur around three or four billion years from now. It will be very spectacular, and will eventually result in both galaxies merging to form a giant elliptical galaxy comprised of hundreds of billions of stars.
The worst that could happen to the Sun is that either it will become a part of this new, larger galaxy, or the gravitational interactions will eject it into intergalactic space. Either way, we won't be around to see it, nor will there be anything on Earth capable of caring, since the Sun's increasing luminosity will put an end to life on Earth a billion years from now.

No. In 9 1/2 billion years, which is 3 1/2 billion years after mankind has been long gone from this planet, the Milky way galaxy will kick Andromeda's **** and make it his B-otch. This is, of course, will come about 3 1/2 billion years after our sun burns out, goes nova, sucks in everything from Mercury to Hayley's comet, and becomes a black hole on the outer edge of the afore-mentioned milky way galaxy.

Yes,
Astronomers predict that in a few billion years that the
Andromeda galaxy is going to collide with our galaxy..
I wouldn't worry about it yet...
