In any equation of the form:

Ax^2 + Bx + C = 0

you can solve using the quadratic formula which is:

x = {-B +/- (B^2 - 4AC)} / 2A

in your example, A = 5/2, B = 132/31, and C = -8/7

You should plug these numbers in and get 2 solutions for x (sometimes one solution will be imaginary, so be aware).

Hope this helps!

Use this formula to solve a quadratic equasion
aX^2+bX+c=0

X=[-b+sqrt(b^2-4ac)]/2a
X=[-b-sqrt(b^2-4ac)]/2a
