Decriminalize drug use. It is an illness to be treated. Not an excuse to put somebody behind bars. They need a hospital. Take the huge profits from insurance companies.

Sadly, i cannot even imagine what a Utopian society would be like. The world today is so far from perfect, it's impossible to comprehend what a perfect world would consist of. In my opinion though, utopia will never include humans. They are simply to controlling, intelligent, and greedy. I think utopia would be a world, not earth, it's too far gone, where the environment and all it's fauna maintain a state of perpetual balance. That doesn't mean no death, or even other animals not hunting each other. It just mean that things never change and maintain control.

A utopian society to me would be one where money was not a factor in life.
If everyone was permitted to do what they are best at and most qualified to do.
and the goal was the betterment of the race and to search for knowledge.
The dark side of this is that if all beings are equal, the freedom is gone.
it would be similar to ants in an antfarm.
Humans on a universal scale ( this universe )are considered to be a virus more than anything else, We were given this wonderful planet as a gift and how do we say thank you? we reproduce beyond our capacity to sustain ourselves, and we destroy our resources and each other in the search for profit. we care for our sick based on thier ability to pay. etc etc.
it is a far fetched dream and we will destroy ourselves way before we get a clue as to how we need to live.

A society that realize truth and keep it in existance is my utopia. A society that puts aside ignorance and uplift eachother not being concerned with their personal goals but the next mans is my utopia. A giving with no concerns of a return.

never will have one. we all have basically the same general idea of Utopia, no war, crime, povery diseases, plenty of food, space, perfect partnet etc...
I doubt humans are capable of coming close look what happened to Adam and Eve if you subscribe to that story....
Take the Star Trek United Federation of planets for example- several hundred years from now they have eliminated the need for money, accumlation of things, disease, famine and the screen writers still do not approach portraying it as a Utopia.
Or it is "SOYLENT GREEN" OR THAT OTHER MOVIE WITH mICHAEL yORK BASED ON A KEY SCI-FI AUTHOR'S BOOK

Utopia is the opposite of what we have today. However, it is non-existent.

Where every person received love:
"Love is always patient and kind. It is never jealous. Love is never boastful or conceited. It is never rude or selfish. It does not take offense and is not resentful. Love takes no pleasure in other peoples sins, but delights in the truth. It is always ready to excuse, to trust, to hope, and to endure whatever comes."
And where every person was 100% willing to give love:
"Love is always patient and kind. It is never jealous. Love is never boastful or conceited. It is never rude or selfish. It does not take offense and is not resentful. Love takes no pleasure in other peoples sins, but delights in the truth. It is always ready to excuse, to trust, to hope, and to endure whatever comes."
