What are the temperatures on the CPU when it restarts? Do you have it set to automatically restart when it gets to a certain temperature? What operating system are you using?

If all else fails, back up and reformat.

It sounds like it could be a problem with your virtual memory, go into the settings for virtual memory in windows and alter it so that you set the initial size (MB) and Maximum size (MB) to the 1.5 times the amount of RAM in your system. You will need to restart your machine after that.

chkdsk /r in command prompt., it is sort of like a buffer for the game on your hard drive. If that doesn't fix it you may need to reinstall game.
