It is about the Dixie Chicks and their views about the Bush administration and the war. I would like to see it, however, I cannot stand country music. Thoughts?

I like the Dixie Chicks political opinions. We now know that the embarrassment they suffered from being from the same state Bush is from, has been vindicated across the country. Everyone in the USA is embarrassed by "President George W Bush/Dick Cheney".

The Dixie Chicks, as Americans are free to express their views. If they don't happen to approve of President Bush and his performance as President they are free to say so. You are free to disagree or to ignore them. Country music is not my favorite either but some of it isn't all that bad. It is certainly better today than it was years ago with less nazal twang and whine.

I went to see Rise Against about 3 years ago (before they were kinda popular) in a small club. It was right after my buddy was killed in Iraq and the lead singer started spouting off about the war, Bush and all his soldiers were stupid. So I screamed, "Shut the f&@k up and play." A lot of other people were booing them.

The Republicans are fond of saying that, but for some strange reason, they never apply the same rule to the musicians who support them. In case some of you don't know, most country musicians are Republican, as are the rockers Ted Nugent, ZZ Top, and Lynyrd Skynyrd.

"Shut Up And Sing" - that is the line that the israeli regimes use as a threat to the U.S. politicians to bring them into submission if they ever dare to slip!
