Or grinning if it got chosen as the best?
Do you feel a little annoyed if your answer gets a thumbs down?
Or if someone else's got chosen as the best after you spent a quarter of a century writing yours.
Do you bang your head every time you see questions that lack common sense? (e.g "Am I pregnant?")
Or if the best answer voted by the community was absolutely pointless?
Admit it: This site influences us. The question is, then: How much?

i like to see thumbs up, but thumbs down doesn't really bother me. sometimes i deserve it!
as far as people who as "am i pregnant"... ugh, yes, i'd like to band my head against a wall. then they go into detail about their last period and the last time they had sex... gross, i don't want to know, neither do i need to know. this is why they make pregnancy tests.
but most of all, it's pretty fun. i love to see people who ask goofy questions that make me laugh :)

It's more that my mood influences my answers. I don't go back and check for thumbs up or down unless I have a feeling I'm going to get a bunch of 'thumbs downs' for some reason. I don't get mad, I just roll my eyes. The questions that lack common sense do annoy me since it's just one more boring question that I refuse to answer.
Mostly, I'm shocked at what some people believe and that comes from reading the other answers. The most surprising thing to me came from the Religion & Spirituality section where I was stunned to read that so many people are creationists. I actually didn't think people really believed that stuff these days, even the Christians. It makes me realize how I assumed a lot about the general population and my assumptions were totally wrong a lot of the time.

I really like getting best answer and thumbs up but the thumbs down sometimes makes me laugh because someone didn't agree but that isn't going to change what I thought

neah, not really. what's the point in being happy cause your answer was chosen the best?
there's one thing that bothers me: when i get thumbs-down just because i said i'm a big fan of "X" and i receive a thumb-down from a person, just because that person hates "X".
and i hate when other users give the answer "i don't know", "no idea" etc. when you want an answer, you keep waiting for it and see that you received a mail from Y! answers ... and when you click the link, see that "i have no idea" oh, brother!

Answer does affect my life when I am taking time to ask or answer a question.Some times it make me smile,frown,laugh out loud and some times it makes me sad,because some people put true thought to what they put on here either someone is ill or heart broken.on some days it helps me get tru the day with a smile or laugh .But I do admit that when I am picked for best answer I do a victory dance.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You should see it! I'm doing it right now!!!

that is considerable for me to have the skill to respond to a question as ultimate i will with out any bias or different comments,interior the early days I didn`t. I admit yet, what's right that is somebody has asked an excellent question & my answer is now, the day doesn`t make a blind little bit of distinction.

If I am having a bad day, I can always look on here and see someone who's is worse....If I am happy, it makes me laugh, if I am sad (rarely), I become very sarcastic at the stupidity of some questions!!!

i love getting thumbs up! I hate getting thumbs down. i love getting points for best answer!! i think dumb questions are kinda funny and i like answering them. i'm addicted to this site!! :)

Sometimes, if I'm in a really bad mood or really sad, and read an hilarious question, it makes me laugh, lifting my mood.
