I do everytime. Remember the song, It's My Party and I'll Cry if I Want to? Sad, but true.

I've only cried on my birthday once that I can recall, and that was because everyone was fighting so much (started with my parents fighting, spread to my friends) that nobody even noticed when I left. Eventually they organized a search party to come looking for me, and found me a few blocks away and apologized. I still hate my birthday though, just for the fact that I've never had a really good one.

Also, just as a sidenote, if you listen to the lyrics of "It's my party", the reason the girl is crying is because her boyfriend left her for another girl during her party without even telling her first.

I have never cried on my birthday , (Except maybe the actual one I was born on) and I am 40.

Some people cry because they are surrounded by friends and or familly that care about them and it is an emotional time.

Some cry because they realize they are another year older , and another year closer to death.

There are many reasons why someone would cry , but not everyone does.

You know what's funny? When I was growing up, our family had three rules for birthdays.

1.) You weren't supposed to cry on your birthday.
2.) You didn't have to do any chores.
3.) You weren't supposed to be disciplined.

Of course, us kids joked that not being disciplined or having to do chores, we had nothing to cry about...but it was kind of ingrained in me in some silly way that you're never supposed to cry on your birthday. I never have. For 364 other days of the year I'm very emotional.

I never cry on my birthday, it is more like think about and complain in my head about how I have become a year older.. its all fun and games until after you reach the ages of 16,18, and 21..

I don't like to celebrate my birthday, but everyone and everyanimal around me celebrates theirs. I cry on their birthday, and I usually cry because they're one year closer to the great death, and one year closer to the day that I'll never see them again. One year closer till they leave me alone in the world, and one year closer for the ones I care about to never come back with the same grin on their face. One year closer to when they get old and can barley support themselves. One year closer to when it won't just be all fun and games, and just worry. One year closer until we all die, and our energy flies away. One year closer until we're all a body without a cause. One year closer until you're wiped off the face of earth, and no one knows or cares about you or your death. One year closer until you have to say goodbye.... Forever... HEY AT LEAST ITS NOT NOW XD

Honestly, I have never cried on any birthday, and I don't plan on it. I make it a point to never cry unless it is absolutely unavoidable.

I don't think I've ever cried on my birthday. I'm too busy partying and having fun and celebrating the wonderfulness of me! :)
