Yes, you could. Take another test, if it's still negative and you go a month w/ out your period you need to go have a dr do a blood test. It might just be stress that is causing the delay in your period. And for heaven's sakes, get on the pill if you don't want to get pregnant!

When was your period due? If you took the test before it would have come or on the day it should have come, then you might have tested too early. Since it's been a week since the last one, I would take another one.
Being sexually active, there is always a chance that you will become pregnant, so you could be now. Or it could be stress making your period late.
Condoms are one of the least reliable methods of birth control, so if you really don't want to get pegnant, get on the pill. But keep using condoms at the same time to protects against STD's.
Good luck!

Listen girl u know that sex isn't everything in a relationship, u have 2 realize that there're a whole lot of diseases out there and u have 2 b very careful not 2 catch 1 of them because God loves u and he wants 2 protect u. Take it from a person who knows what their talking about. I'm a single parent with 2 young children and it's hard, but I have God and my mom helping me get through the rough times. The test that u took might have been defective. So if I were u, I would go 2 the doctor and find out if you are or not. Please write back to me, let me talk 2 u ok?

If you are very regular and being late is abnormal, then it is very possible! The first time I got pregnant my first pg test was negative. You should either wait a week or more and take the test again (first thing after waking up) or go to Dr. and have a blood test.
Really, time will tell...but, yes it's possible. Comdoms can break, and even if they don't break they are not 100% effective.

My guess is no. Take another test and see what the results are. What does really late mean?

you could be, generally it doesnt show up on tests until about 6 weeks, or so im told, (my freind had an ultra sound really early on, at about 4wks, and nothing showed up, and then one again at about 8, and then they could tell she definitly was) if you had sex about 2weeks after your last period, then, yeah, theres a good chance. good luck!! :)
