I just started taking a progesterone only birth control pill this month (I've not been on birth control for a long time due to high blood pressure and combination birth control pills)...so this progesterone pill is a new thing for me. My breasts are so swollen and sore. I'm kinda small chested naturally but right now my breasts seem huge. It's awful! Anyone else experienced this with progesterone only pills? What can I do to stop the breast tenderness and shrink back down to size without stopping the birth control? (I'm getting married this month and want to have the birth control protection!) Do symptoms go away after a while?

Yes, the symptoms should go away after a while, as your body gets used to the new hormone levels. It may take 2-4 months, though.

Have a happy wedding!

Do you place on an underwire? in line with threat attempt switching to a softer game bra type for each week or 2 to establish if it clears or is going down. If no longer, call and make a doctor appointment and have this examined and taken care of if mandatory. superb desires
