IYO do you believe the people they use for commercials really used the service and found love.. or do are they actors?? I see those commercials all the time and I wonder..

I think its a bunch of poppycock, those people didn't really find the love of their lives at Eharmony! HA!

(Just wanted to rant about something this morning)

What do you guys think?

*hugz* :) Thanks for your answers!!

Ha, thx for the advice but I wasn't anywhere near thinking of joining, I just saw a commercial and thought it looked a bit fishy.. most of those people are good looking and don't seem they would have any trouble meeting people on their own.. you know? :)

I am married, so I don't have a use for any online dating service. More than likely the people in the commercials are actors, and I think that the large majority of people who use services like eharmony do not find their true-love through it. You have to remember that those dating services are in existence for the primary goal of making money. Whoever invented the first one understood the driving need that people have for companionship, and they marketed it. It was obviously a huge money maker, because now there are dozens of online dating services in the business.

i'm married so i've got not been to eharmony or different web pages (yet beneficial see the labeled classified ads many times on television!) i might say merely shop your eyes open. pass with the 'if it variety of feels too sturdy to be authentic, then it in all threat is' rule. i've got heard that a super form of married human beings pass on those web pages for affairs or 'hook ups' and that some human beings on those web pages are incredibly sleazy human beings. merely carry your standards severe, shop the eyes open and merely be real looking. sturdy success in looking a undeniable 'somebody'. :)

I think the old guy is HOT. Lol. I don't know how much it cost but my sister in law before she married my brother paid her money and filled out all of their surveys and guess what? They told her they had noone she would be compatible with. Is that a scam or what?

I agree. I found my love the old fashioned way, real life interactions. Those people have to be fake, no one is that damn giddy in real life.

I always wnted to to an experiment with it, and put mine and my fiance's profiles on there and see if they match us up.

i joined eharmony at the end of december. i signed up for one month. i thought they would send an email asking permission to renew my membership but they did it automatically and it caused me to have an overdraft fee.
i have not met any one through them but i have talked to a girl on the phone a couple of times.
