If you are not that intent on working 60 hours a week trying to make a ton of money, I would urge you to consider non-profit work. Look into the march of dimes, united way, American red cross, etc. These are jobs that don’t pay as much as the private companies, but the daily activities is more exciting.

Start your own business, don't get a J-O-B. If you like being out doors, you can make more shoveling snow, and mowing lawns in a weekend, then you can make all month long at McD's. Take a babysitting class, and babysit on nights and weekends. Think outside the box. You are only 17, and are the perfect age to start something like that, don't just go for a J-O-B!

Also consider the mall. You could apply to the bookstores, or if you would like to go into retail, one of the clothing stores. Some do pay commission.
If you have some definite interests in terms of a future career, look for an apprentice or entry level position in that field.
Best of luck to you.

Join the armed services. It is time to grow up and be a man. Forget the fast food foolishness. Take a chance on some dignity.

depend on your interest and where you like to work in? Also the working hours and whether you want to work in the night time/shift or weekends.
