by jumping itno a pit of snakes,by hanging onto the wings of moving airplanes, by running from giant concrete balls, by dodging bullets, by swinging ffom vines in the jungle, etc. thats how indiana jones maintains his hat.

I think the best thing to do is to place the hat in a hat box with moth balls. That way, with our busy lives that we live - you will not damage it. Remember that you should store it in a basement or attic because there is usually moisture in those places - which isn't good for the leather. Good Luck! Hope this helps you out!

Well try the yellow pages,i am sure you have a place in your town that sells and makes custom hats. Well I am in Tx, so it's not hard for me to find one,they are worse than Bank of america!
Anywho,I had my dad's hat made. it looks like one that clarke gable had in G.w.t.w.and that cosat me around 200.00,I was only 10 or 11 when i had it done for him. I remember well, I had to cut a lot of grass that summer!

Stream. Hold hat brim over boiling water to soften it. Form to shape you like as it is cooling down. I heard if you place starch in the water it will hold better once dry but I have not tried that.
