I think they could have done something more appropriate and not hired the 2 guys that were responsible. They were laughing in court about it. This is ridiculous. Public safety is important. We don't need this to become a regular thing- it would drastically affect our homeland security.

It has gotten completely out of control....I mean little cartoon figures flippin the bird is the last thing I think of when it comes to radical terrorism...nowadays you can't say anything cause it upsets at least someone, you can't do anything cause it upsets at least someone....pretty soon we will be forced to breathe only in our own homes so that we don't offend anyone

People in Boston need to chill out. I typically think Turner is a total pompous jerk, but bravo to him for standing up to the city. I heard the DA at the initial appearances for the two guys and he was so friggin dramatic it was sick. These guys were morons, it was for a cartoon movie, get over it!!

Oh and what the hell were they doing that cost the city a million dollars. It is always puzzling to me how everytime the government has to do something, it costs some outrageous amount of money.

I think the city of Boston overreacted. They placed the same items in other cities without the same reaction.

Very much so, it goes to show how up tight people have gotten. Everytime something goes amiss it "It must be terrorists"... I understand that we have to watch our backs but, come on...it's getting ridiculous. Boston is the only city who reacted like they did.

No because someone has to finacially pay for all the law enforcement who responded..It cost money to sent men out there to check out bomb threats when they could be else where. It was a waste of boston's money.

It was just a joke. The problem is not with them, but with the government trying to perpetuate this sense of fear in the American people. It was a toy!
